ABOUT THIS PIECE

Lia Tabrah sent toad in the post to Michelle Boyde in Hobart for her Toad Busting exhibition work but the toad was held in Toad Jail by Biosecurity. Michelle received the Australia Post satchel empty and sealed with “Opened by Australia Post for inspection Quarantine” written across yellow tape. The toad spent about 3 long weeks in jail before it was finally released.
